Our theme is Summer Days & Country Ways.

Thank you to all who attended the 2018 Ellis County Fair. It is a wonderful feeling to see so many come out and support our 4-H youth and all of our open class exhibitors. The kids and others work hard to prepare their projects each year and are excited to share them with all of you. We extend a special thank you to our sponsors, our vendors, 4-H families, and to all other individuals who worked tirelessly throughout the week. Get set for Summer Days & Country Ways at the Ellis County Fair July 14-21, 2018!

We are excited to showcase all the 4-H and open class exhibits. Come out and see what they have worked on all year long. You can come watch one of the many shows that happen daily. From the “Chopped” style food contest to all the livestock shows, there is something for everyone.

After watching a livestock show, stroll through the Schenk building or take a stroll down the midway and enjoy the free nightly concerts on the midway. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many food vendors. You won’t be disappointed.

We continue to offer the cheapest fair pass around; one ticket can get you into 2 nights of races, 2 nights of rodeo, the demo derby, and 2 nights of motorcycle races!

Along with the main events, we have an old-timer’s showmanship competition, safety fair, kid’s and adult pedal pull, and RC cars. There is so much to do, visit our website for a detailed schedule.

The Ellis County fair wouldn’t be possible without the exhibitors and volunteers who donate their time for the fair’s success. 4-H members and families, extension agents, County Commissioners, RPM Staff, superintendents and assistants, and the Ellis County Fair Association have dedicated countless hours in preparation for this year’s fair and it’s greatly appreciated!

I hope to see you at the Ellis County Fair!
